Album Review: AI the Anomaly - Souls Acrylic Album Review

First thoughts of this album, these words come to mind deep, cinematic, east coast, and holy. AI the anomaly starts of with a artistic intro song “Acrylic” which leads into her most popular song to date (East Side). Right Off top you can hear the strong Boom bap New York style beats. Next song that stands out is “Don’t Fail Me” I don’t know how you can grab attention with a song about marriage and the struggles on top of an extremely hard beat, but AI shines in and out of the pocket and soars like a bird through the whole track.

On Souls Acrylic you get a Lauren Hill vibe mixed with a Queen Latifa influence and AI shines. This album is straight for the all the 80s & 90’s babies. “Journal Entry Six” and “Relentless ft Bizzle” are jam packed with lyrical rap bars. AI is and will be known for being a spitter. The flow on Souls Acrylic gives you the idea she is here to stay. So, you know you can’t have a sister like AI make a album and not do at least one Joint for the “Grwn Woman” this song is a definite hit, an ode to all the women taking card of the family and themselves.

Even tho this album is what I would say “Not Churchy” you can still here behind the lyrics that this is a Christian Rap Album, it stands up with some heavy weight secular projects as well. I give this album 5 Slaps ðŸ‘‹ðŸ‘‹ ðŸ‘‹ ðŸ‘‹ðŸ‘‹

For Originality, Beat Selection, Production, & Bars. Souls Acrylic is a banger. Check Out AI The Anomaly- Souls Acrylic Below ðŸ‘‡ðŸ‘‡ðŸ‘‡ðŸ‘‡ðŸ‘‡ðŸ‘‡ðŸ‘‡ðŸ‘‡
